ProCare Rehab Plus Arm Sling and Shoulder Immobiliser
The ProCare Rehab Plus Arm Sling and Shoulder Immobiliser is an easy to fit and lightweight Shoulder Immobiliser. Commonly used for Upper Extremity Post-Operative and Post-Trauma Support and Immobilisation.
Some of the most common issues that can benefit from our shoulder braces include:
- Glenohumeral Sprains: These occur when the ligaments surrounding the main shoulder joint are stretched or torn, often due to a fall or sudden impact.
- Acromioclavicular Sprains: Also known as a separated shoulder, this injury involves damage to the ligaments connecting the collarbone to the shoulder blade.
- Subluxations: A partial dislocation of the shoulder joint, where the humerus partially slips out of the socket but returns on its own.
- Dislocations: A more severe injury where the humerus completely separates from the shoulder socket, requiring medical intervention to realign.
- Rotator Cuff Strains: Overuse or acute injuries to the muscles and tendons that stabilize the shoulder joint.
- Soft Tissue Strains: Injuries to the muscles, tendons, or ligaments surrounding the shoulder joint.
- Tears: Including rotator cuff tears, labral tears, and biceps tendon tears, which can range from partial to complete.
- Tendonitis: Inflammation of the tendons, often caused by repetitive motions or overuse.
- Bursitis: Inflammation of the bursa sacs, leading to pain and reduced range of motion.
Each of these conditions can cause significant pain and limit your ability to perform daily activities or participate in sports. Understanding the specific nature of your injury is crucial in selecting the right treatment approach and supportive devices.
